2026 Youth Summit, Voices of Resilience: Rooted & Rising
The 2026 Youth Summit, Voices of Resilience: Rooted & Rising, brings young people from Los Alamos and Rio Arriba counties together for a day of honest conversation, connection, and shared leadership. Youth-led and youth-centered, the summit gives participants room to talk openly about mental health, civic engagement, and their futures to turn their own experiences into action that strengthens their communities. It's Youth Opportunity and Community Resilience in action: two of United Way Northern New Mexico's core impact areas, brought to life by the young people living them.
Our keynote speaker will share a personal story of overcoming adversity and finding a path to leadership. Through storytelling and practical guidance, the keynote will encourage students to own their identities, build resilience, and recognize the role they already play in shaping Northern New Mexico's future.
