There will be two UNITE Meetings on May 28th.
Los Alamos UNITE!
8:30 am–11:30 am • Hosted by UWNNM & Los Alamos Community Foundation at PEEC Nature Center
The May 28 Los Alamos UNITE! meeting will revisit UNITE! goals and develop a training blueprint for 2026 and 2027 to build nonprofit capacity and collaboration. Hosted jointly by UWNNM and the Los Alamos Community Foundation, the session is facilitated by Louis Jeantete of the Encantado Foundation. This connects local nonprofits by identifying shared training needs and turning them into coordinated supports that strengthen outcomes across the community.
Española UNITE!
4:30 pm–6:30 pm • McCurdy Family Resource Campus
The Española UNITE! meeting connects nonprofits directly with Mayor Dennis Tim Salazar and his administration as follow-up to a candidate forum. The conversation focuses on opioid settlement funds, city plans, engaging nonprofit and youth organizations, and next steps for future leader input. This creates an opportunity for local nonprofits to build relationships with city leadership and help shape how community priorities are addressed.
If you are a nonprofit and serve Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, or northern Santa Fe counties, this is for you!
