About Marcie
Marcie Davis is an internationally recognized, award-winning victim assistance and disability rights advocate, speaker, author, podcast host, and socialpreneur. With more than 30 years of experience in the victim services field, she has shaped policy, programs, and partnerships at every level — from grassroots initiatives to national strategies. Her career includes serving as Chief of Victim Services and Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grants management for the Florida Attorney General’s Office and establishing the first-ever victim services office in the New Mexico Attorney General’s Office.
Today, Marcie is Chief Executive Officer of La Casa, Inc., a comprehensive domestic violence organization on the U.S.–Mexico border, and founder of Davis Innovations, a consulting firm dedicated to helping social service leaders design and implement transformational solutions.
Through Davis Innovations, she partners with local, state, Tribal, and federal agencies, as well as nonprofits and NGOs, to advance program development and management, training, technical and grant writing, data collection, marketing, outreach, and research and evaluation. Her work consistently bridges vision and execution, empowering organizations to achieve sustainable, measurable impact.
Marcie earned her bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies and master’s degree in Library Science from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is also the host of the acclaimed podcast Working Like Dogs on Pet Life Radio, where she explores the powerful human–animal bond. A lifelong disability advocate, Marcie has lived with a spinal cord injury for over five decades and is accompanied in both her professional and personal life by her trusted service dog, Fenway.
