After two years at New Mexico State University, studying physics and then humanities, I was left feeling unmotivated and uninspired so I decided to take a break.  Now back home, I have found a spot at United Way as a Student Intern. Because I have lived in Rio Arriba County and attended to public school there, it is rewarding to be a part of a team that is determined to find the resources that are necessary for growth. My family is native to New Mexico and it is gratifying to see that our home is taken care of.
